Border villages celebrate Indian team victory

AMRITSAR: The moment Indian team won the cricket match while defeating the Pakistan team on Monday, the celebrations begun at all the border villages Doekey, Mhawa, Attari and Rorawali near the Attari Check post.

All these villages are a stone throwing distance to Pakistan from Indian side.
Residents of village said that victory of Indian team for the border villages is not less than to win the international war.

Hundreds of villagers near the Attari check post came out of their houses and started dancing to the tune of Punjabi music while moving the directions of speakers their towards Pakistan, said Munish Sharma resident village Mhawa.
