1st Day in Pune!!

Being together with friend is a treat but being together with friend with chandak... is party in heaven. I got what I want here in Pune, a complete day with him after 7 months. I ruined my life in Ghaziabad but coming here and how I had been treated by both Chandak and Naveen is worth being thee in Pune. Naveen is always close to heart so there is nothing to mention more but party at DSK was just great. I also got encounter with police with Paro (He is used to this kind of stuff) and as usual he made them crazy(
Paro jo shuru hoa to khatm hone ka naam nahi leta), we save 400 bucks.

I hope in coming days they will not disappoint me and lemme to live my dream to roam around come true.

This girl made me cry

Music has the power to cause emotions to well up within us. These feelings are gripping - often irresistible - and seem to emerge from nowhere. After viewing this video I cried(I don't want to admit that , but yeah some tears certainly were there in my eyes). This shows a determination, will to fight destiny. It is hard to believe that a girl ( some people say special child) can fight against all odd and can sing so well. Her mother help her in very aspect and that is why we often says that mother is GOD.

This is 4.18 am in morning and I usually do not write anything this time. But after watching this video I cannot resist myself to share it with you. Watch the talent... Watch a True INDIAN IDOL

Effect of Diversification on Firm’s Performance: An Indian perspective

Effect of Diversification on Firm’s Performance: An Indian perspective - A research study

Abstract:
Despite considerable attention being devoted to the relationship between corporate diversification and firm performance, much of prior research has generally assumed away the impact of differences is in the organizational form of firms. This research study analyses the association between diversification and firm performance in a sample of up to 87 large Indian firms listed in Bombay Stock Exchange. Firm performance is measured by profitability ratios and for that ROCE and RONW is considered. Results from the sample show that more focused firms have higher profitability. This result controls for firm specific effects and other determinants of profitability. The results may indicate that listed firms may be under closer scrutiny and competitive pressures that ensure, on average, that these firms are at their optimal degree of diversification.

Keywords: diversification,performance, firm.

This is research study that I done in Business Research Methods course. Yet in IMT you have to do so many researches and projects yet this is only one in this sem that I was dedicated to. I am also posting a link of complete PDF file for reference.

Google Ads for Terrorism Spotted on Mumbai Stories

Unbelievable google ad spotted on the site IBN Live, is a typical example of the tactlessness of automated ad targeting systems.

If You we can't wake now we can't do it ever

Islamic Terrorism or incompetent politicians:

I am afraid now the war is raging inside my house and not on the country’s borders. My PM is telling me not to be afraid and to keep calm and maintain peace and harmony. He is not angry and his body language conveyed that everything is under control. But my PM has Z Plus security which is perhaps why he is not agitated. I am an ordinary citizen. How can I remain calm when my own house is on fire?”

This is the time to take actions against both terrorism as well as our incompetent politicians. Mumbai blast are not simple terror attack as there were many previously but they raise question that what we learn from past mistakes: Nothing. Our beloved politicians will take it as a chance of doing politics as elections are there in 5 states and everyone got a Mudda.

I am f**king tired of hearing these words again and again :
‘Terror has no religion’, ‘opposition (BJP) is deriving political mileage’, ‘Shivraj Patil was incompetent’, ‘Pakistan is the mastermind and must be taught a lesson’, ‘POTA is no solution’, ‘we are a soft state’, ‘all governments/politicians are the same’, ‘intelligence needs to be beefed up’, etc.

Is there any law exist in this country? We always shout 'India is great' . Is this greatness? What the f**k I am writing about ? Will any change can happen? People can say what are you doing by writing this , for them answer is simple I am frustated and I am simply writing my anger and frustration.

Attention all politicians of my country see this video and analysis how much anger is there in general public's heart. Where was Mr. CM of Maharastra that night, leave CM any political leader was there? None. Turning down Home minister is not the solution. You people tell us how many attacks US face after 9/11? Is terror not unpredictable for them? Yes it is unpredictable yet they made two war fronts just for 3000 lives and in India we lost much more than them and still there is no surety that this will not happen again.

Mumbai Blast

ATTACK, ATTACK AND ATTACKS

Again terror strike in our economic capital: Mumbai. This leave behind (not even behind war is on) so many questions
. Is a regular terror activity (We become to used to these happenings that I am using word regular) or its a Open War? This act of terror left behind question that who all are responsible for present situation: Pakistan, politicians, IB, Muslims, Hindus who all?? This kind of audacious attack takes months of meticulous planning. And as usual our “revered” intelligence agencies were caught napping. This disgusting scenario had become so commonplace, that I wonder, what the fuck is the need for these intelligence agencies, when they fail at a time when we needed them the most.

As I am going through various news channels i can quote that
at least 101 people have been killed in attacks by gunmen in Mumbai. The attacks have taken a tragic toll on the city's top police brass: The high-profile chief of the anti-terror squad Hemant Karkare was killed; Mumbai's additional commissioner of police (east) Ashok Kamte was gunned down outside the Metro; and celebrated encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar was also killed. This a great loss to the country as such as we lose brave fighters in this war.

Question still remain same: when will this end and who all are responsible? Most of us blaming Muslims but on going shor of Hindu terror act (Sadhvi Pragya case) will make picture pretty delusions. Why Muslims are targeted? I have really good friends among them but I never come across such thinking reflected ever in their thoughts (and I know most of you too). My one of very good friend use to greet me on Diwali even when is away from country and sailing in sea , where you have to use a satellite phone to make a call. Is this act of such people? I don't think so. Then why we blame entire community. Is it justified? I left with so many unanswered questions. Present attacks are clear cut indicator of Pakistan's hand in situation. terrorist came through channel of sea, what was our coastguard doing??Were they sleeping as govt is sleeping. I don't think now there is any question to discuss that how we need act like POTA more than before.

Even in this tragic situation politicians are trying to take leverage of situation. I got a message from some one 'Vivek' (As usual you cant see mgs sender's details). Message was in good spirit but still have political affluence. Message was:
Enough is enough, the terrorists have not only attacked mumbai but our national pride. India can no longer afford a weak Government. Mehangi Padi Congress. What did these last words means?? Clearly someone is seeking an opportunity to curse congress indirectly. I never advocate that congress is going right, even they are among having one of very bad time of rule in India. They failed to curb Poverty, Inflation, Depression in economy and most importantly national security. So many Blast!! Can we say there is a govt in India. Have you ever heard of any terror attack after 9/11 in US?? No. Why cant be we so firm in fighting terror act.

I am signing off from post leaving many questions here and thousands in my mind...
God please save my country...

Jai
Hind.

INS Tabar sinks Somali pirate ship

The first time the INS Tabar encountered pirates was on November 11.

In a swift action, warship INS Tabar intervened to thwart two near-simultaneous attacks by pirates on an Indian cargo vessel MV Jag Arnav and a Saudi flag carrier MV NCC Thihama within 25 nautical miles of each other.

The Indian warship received an SOS from the Saudi ship at around 1000 hours after a group of pirates surrounded it. Marine commandos on board the INS Tabar flew out in an armed helicopter and launched an assault on the attackers.

I am a poet and I never knew it...

My first poem:
.......
My Fear
There is a love that I wish to see
But, there is fear reaching out to more
My life is in a constant change more than in puberty
At times, I do not know who can comfort me.
......
I tried to hide behind a door
Today I lost that opening key
While my music plays,
These thoughts of fear will pass over me.
.......
It's dark versus light
Dark's winning the fight
I'm feeling it lately
The darkness had taken me
.......................................................................................................................
Many more to come...

Bye Bye Saurav Chandidass Ganguly!

Farewell to Prince!!

Saurav Ganguly, popularly known as Prince of Kolkata, Dada (big brother), or Maharaj (King), or Bengal Tiger, has played the last day of international cricket today. With this one golden era came to an end.

I am not that hard core fan of prince but no one can underestimate Saurav Ganguly in Indian cricket. He is noted as most successful Indian Captain till date, he is legend that creates fear in opponents mind whether he was batting , bowling or team was playing under his captaincy. Even critic like me who usually fight with friends about his declining performance appreciate One thing is for sure, he was a giant. The ability of Dada to come out from the difficult situations in life and in cricket ground was superb.

He start his career with test century against England at Mecca of cricket: LORDS. He was many times in news for discrimantory decisions by BCCI for his position in team India, but he always have an urge to fight back. Coach of Ganguly said : Indian got indepence 60 years back but cricket in India got free only at NETWEST trophy when Ganguly putoff his shirt from balcony of Lords. This was Ganguly who never give up .
Once a advertisement was there on TV : Kanhi Aap mujhe Bhool to Nahi Gaye? That I laughed a lot about that silly Ad, but Today I can say that No one who even know ABCD of cricket can never forget this great man of acumen and always bring pride for India. Prince you will remain always in our heart and I hope even after your retirement you will continue to give your best to Indian Cricket...

Long Live Dada!!

A BIG DREAM: MISSION MOON - CHANDRAYAAN LAUNCHED SUCESSFULLY

Indian Moon Mission: Chandrayaan I

On 21st Oct, 2008 at 6:22AM world wittessed the glory of Indian space program. India launch its first moon mission Chandrayaan-I despite inclement weather at the mission complex, Sriharikota. The other members of this global elite are the US, Russia, the European Space Agency, Japan and China. India is the sixth member of this club. Within minutes, the lift-off elevated India's position in the world. As dawn broke over Sriharikota, the mighty brown and white 44.4 metre tall four-stage Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rose from the launch pad to carry the 1,400 kg spacecraft 384,000 km away to the moon in the first leg of its mission.

Yesterday I got a mail from Shiv Singh which led to include this information also in this post. Behind the success of mission various PSU's are also involved. MECON ( My probable ex-employer) has major stake in this mission. It was a proud moment for Mecon because Chadrayaan take off from the launch-pad made by Mecon Ltd.The construction of the Rs 20 crore, 4-metre high mobile launch pad — which proudly supported India’s first moon mission — at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota was executed by Mecon on a total turnkey that included design and detailed engineering of the equipment that was primarily manufactured by HEC.

“Mecon has built the first-of-its-kind launch pad, 82.5-metre long with four lighting conductors and several unique features."

This lunched has open the gateway to learn more about moon and led ISRO in a position where they can leverage the position of much strong Space mission agency in world and help them to generate more and more revenues.

Aiye Bharat Banayein: India Banao

India Banao:
On 20th Oct, 2008 a public forum for political networking is launched by Mr. L.K. Advani along with some corporates. I too witnessed the event. Launch was in FICCI auditorium and I was excited about going there. India Banao! is a platform for young people to participate in public affairs. Demographically India is a young country with millions of ambitious, hard-working youth seeking a better tomorrow. However, many young people believe that neither India’s political system nor its leaders are addressing the issues that really matter to them. The India Banao! initiative provides a channel for young people to engage with India’s political leaders on youth-related issues. Welcome speech is delivered by Mr. Advani.

When I was back from there it left several questions in my mind. Is this forum is not an arm of BJP?
Is this forum is talking that Advani Banao= India Banao ?

Answers for these question may be yes. I attended the launch with pure intensions but found that it is more inclined towards BJP. As such I'm not against BJP but I'm expectin more that at least this forum will not be biased and will definately represent the youth of this country. The party’s press release said India Banao! has been founded by three accomplished Indian professionals: Sanjeev Sanyal, economist and author, Jayant Sinha, investor and columnist, and Sheetal Talwar, film producer. It seems that the initiative supplements the BJP youth wing’s “yuva jodo” plan to reach down to the booth level to project Advani and recruit at least two youth per booth.

Questions raised: Most of questions raised in event remained un-answered. Advaniji try to skip nearly all questions as most of them nearly asking clear views about their agenda about Bad performing politicians, hours wasted in parliament, de-investment policies and Mr. Advani has some political restriction to answer them in front of media.

I can state that expections are not meet....

Donate Blood Save Life...

MADF (Make a difference Foundation), the social club of IMT Ghaziabad conducted a blood donation camp in collaboration with LIONS Club of New Delhi South at the IMT Campus on 16th October , 2008. I was responsible for operations of this event. This is for the first time in IMT I kept myself so active. It is not east yo mobilize people for this noble task but our team try their level best to pass the information to fellow students. Students and faculty participated in large numbers and the number of donors stood at 170.

Dr. B. S. Sahay, Director, IMT Ghaziabad and Mr. Anurag Anand, coordinator, LIONS Blood Bank inaugurated the event with Lighting the Lamp Ceremony. While inaugurating the camp, the director stressed the importance of mobilizing the youth towards the cause of blood donation and thereby serving the society.

“A Blood Donor saved my life” was the slogan used by the MADF to motivate the students to donate blood. The campaign involved a series of posters and banners which were put up all over the campus. We use presentations and audio video ads to create awareness; the most influential was the stunning street play highlighting the importance of blood donation.

Along with this blood donation camp we also put stall for the sale of SHASHAKT- Candle making project. This project is for women empowerment by making them eligible for pursue candle making as for their earning.

MADF (Make a difference foundation) is a forum run by the students of IMT Ghaziabad. The objective of the foundation as reflected in its name, is to make a positive difference to the society in general , through synergized and sustained efforts .

Convocation Likely be on 15th Nov: What the hell !!

Convocation is not just about the award of degree but it is the time when one get chance to reunite, cherish the past moments, wearing the rob and feeling proud of holding the degree (the greatest achievement in one's life). There are rumors that this year convocation @ MNIT is on 15th November. This will be my convocation i.e I will be the recipient of the degree of B.TECH. for which I was there for four years. I am waiting for this event very eagerly.

I was willing to meet my friends whom I havnt meet since long and suddenly this news spoils the mood. This trauma is about the date: 15th November, a day before CAT exam. Now I fear how many will turn up for the convocation day. Everyone is looking for bright career and management studies are becoming a important tool in this aspect. In this period of Economic recession ( some economists are considering situation worse than Great Depression of 1930s) everyone has a fear of job security so people are looking for admission in a management course. So it will be very hard for them to turn up for the convocation as they will miss their exam if they do so. Now I am fearing that will I able to meet my friends or cherish those moments when we were together in MNIT. As usual Institute Management is unaware about the important happenings around the corner. It seems they are doing it for the sake of organizing as it has become a part of every year's academic calendar.

From my blog I want to draw attention of both my collegues and MNIT's Management please look in matter. Friends it is the time to request Institute for shifting the date. I request our Director sir to please look in matter favorably.

A letter to Director:

Dear Sir,
I am Devendra Garg graduate (Metallurgical & Materials Engineering) from MNIT itself. Currently I am in first year of the post graduate program at Institute of Management Technology(IMT), Ghaziabad. Fortunately got into a management course from the college. Having a good time here. As few of juniors in the college told me that the institute is planning to have its 4th convocation, convocation for us (2008 Batch) on 15th November. I would like to bring to your notice that the CAT examination is already there on 16th Nov and most of us are appearing for the same, specially those who couldn't got through last year. So they in any case will not able to attend the day. Also most of the final year students will also be taking the test on the same day so there will not be a active involvement from them.
As you know this is one of the biggest event of the institute also the most awaited event for us. This is the only time when we will be meeting with our batch mates, our friends and the most important our college which we miss the most. I would like to request you to please reschedule it and give us the opportunity to rejoice with our loved ones.

Regards,
Devendra Garg
B. Tech (Metallurgical & Materials Engineering)

I hope authorities are looking this request...

Euphoria - Rocked IMT

Passion, the Annual Management Fest of IMT Ghaziabad, is not just the flagship event. In fact, it is the epitome of student life at IMT.The evenings are the most awaited part of the day in Passion as they see many icons from the world of music and entertainment take centre-stage and enthrall the audience with their performance. And on 11th Oct there comes the D- Day, Euphoria was there in campus. This was a truly sizzling, Rocking night I ever been pass through.

God Bless Euphoria... As I got the honor to meet them. For this also thanks to low turn up for the event. Initially I thought that it will not gonna work and with public of 300 or something for band like Euphoria it seems very disheartening for the band. But I can tell you everyone there was so full of energy that each one is seems to complete the space for 20. I have no words for their performance. It was sizzling, Blistering, scalding, rocking performance. Palash seems insane to me, how a person with that much of energy can perform for 3 hrs continuously without any break. The essential honesty of the music and the lyrics remain true to heart and the eternal emotion binds the performance all together. Performance on Maeri and Mehfuz were just unimaginable. I wish that I can see more concert by them in near future.

IMT Rocks!!

A trip to Noida, wonderful weekend!

Life is not that tough also as I realized when I entered in IMT. After few days past it seems pretty cool to be here. IMT is a place which give you enough room to do what ever you want to do. Time constraints are pretty less. People here are cooperative and enjoy life at full! After having pretty busy schedule for the week I decided to go Noida for some bash with hemant. Actually I also want to have show for Rock ON!!

As soon I reached there we left for Shipra Mall to book the ticket but housefull! We went to Spice mall house full! we went adlabs house full! we went citystage center house full! This is what sign were reading at every counter. How can a movie without SRK can appeal so much public? It shows there is something there. Then we decided to have dinner in a wonderful Italino Restaurent and we crunched on food as soon it came. We went back at 12 @ hemant's flat and I went sleep as soon I catch bed.
Next day (Sunday) I still want to see the movie so I decided to for tickets in Adlabs at TGIP and ask Archita too to come. She also want to watch the same flick so she agreed (may be meeting me was also there in her mind). Hemant suddenly got some work in office and refused to come. We got ticket for movie (my heart was dancing!!) Movie rocks... It simply based on theme
of
Pink Floyd's rock classic Time :

You are young and life is long

And there is time to kill today

And then one day you find that

Ten years have got behind you

No one told you when to run

You missed the starting gun

So I like movie very much and did she. We wander in TGIP. And suddenly I meet Param and Ganguu. That was so happy moment. Meeting old friends is a treat. I feel my trip complete. Then we did some shopping (Oooops!! I am doing that too much) After a complete fun day I came here in IMT and a party is waiting for me organized by class.

What a weekend to celebrate!

Singh is Kinng

Singh is Kinng

Caution: This movie is not suitable to watch for all intellectuals and pseudo critic writers.

Singh is Kinng is for mass and total entertainment in 2 hour and some 15 minutes. (Finally we are making movies for shorter duration). Music is a grand treat if you in multiplex.
Anees Bazmi, Akshay and Katrina is a combo means Super Hit.

You know the rules when you watch a hardcore entertainer: Just don't look for logic. If you do, too bad for you, for you would never enjoy a film of this genre and more specifically, SINGH IS KINNG. In this movie they too carry all elements of entertainment , fun and masti. No double sense dialouges, Wonderful Camera work, great scenes from Egypt and Australia and good screenplay. Though movie lacks any good story but it keeps scenes so moving you cant get bore even so. Though movie is in so many controversies reagarding potray of Sikh community but idea of sikh gangsters in Australia is itself unique and a scene is also there justifying the reason for so called sytlish Beard. Akshay is Style icon of the movie and OMPURI and Kirron Kher have done paisa vasool performance.

Want a joyride without taxing your brains? Board the SINGH IS KINNG wagon. At the box-office, the film will fetch a historical start. Blockbuster Hit

Terror attack in Ahmedabad- Serial Blasts

I was shocked to see about serial blast in Ahmedabad as soon I turn on my computer today evening. The deadly serial bomb blasts on consecutive days in Bangalore and Ahmedabad have shown that the terrorists are confident of striking at will. 17 blasts in a row in 30 mins rocks the city. In two days 2 cities and lots of casualties question is that what the terrorist trying to do in this country. Their aim in crystal clear to evoke panic in whole country. How these fu**ers escape after doing as act in my country?

So who is blamed for these attacks, terrorists or Govt. who is not taking any serious steps in this sense. Life is coming on track after Jaipur attacks and these incidents in Bangalore and Ahmedabad shows that no place in safe in country. Terrorist are dong what so ever they want as per their will and Govt in still unable to trace them. One thing is common in these attacks is that all the states targeted are BJP ruled so blasts seem to be directed against the BJP-ruled states.

Blast in IT capital of the country was clearly with the intention to create fear in the mind of new entrants and companies to think for their steup in India. Steps should be taken rather blaming failure of IB in country by Govt. Both central and state govt should think in a co-ordinated manner to fight back and leave their political mileage aside. Politicians must begin to think above party politics if they really want to call themselves the leaders of this nation. Citizens should also play a role to fight against terrorism through their alertness.

My initial days in IMT...

Life here in IMT is cool but I still have no friends as such...
I have twin sharing basis room. No one is allowed to go outside after 10pm(afterall it is Ghaziabad, UP ) but one can come any time. Hostels are good, Campus is Wifi, Girls can come to any room 24*7 (But boys can go to their rooms till 8.30pm). There is a DLP (like our GMP) remain open till 4am, Lib, comp lab are open for 24hr. (This is the stuff you can find in any damn B-school)
My first week in college was pretty hectic. I hardly slept whole week. It started officially at 5.10 am (as we had to do Yoga in morning, can you believe this! bloody nonsense!! ) and ends officially at 12.30am. In between I had breaks for breakfast(30 mins), Lunch (45 mins) and dinner(45 mins). Now comes PDP(Personality Development Program- as called by senoirs here) started at 12.30am and end nearly at 4.00am So if you are lucky you can sleep for an hour daily. I was sleeping in classes whole through the week. We had a outbound day in that week and that was the most interesting part of our orientation week. I had gone through activities like River crossing, Raffling, Few fun games etc. I'm attaching a few pics here.

At the end of week there was a culture night (culture here: work hard, party harder). There was a DJ night and it end at morning 5am as sun began to rise. Junta was dancing like anything. Whole atmosphere was very cool. After orientation week I was sleeping all through the day for 2 days. Now my timetable is pretty cool. Nothing much to do. I have classes from morning 8.30 to 1.30pm (thats it, if any extra class is not there)

After reading this post it seems life is pretty interesting in IMT but it is not.. I'm missing my classrooms in MNIT. I'm missing FRIENDS at MNIT. I'm missing late night parties , Thadi, GT , missing BMG, missing hostel 5, missing you, missing everyone who was close to me. It is pretty tough to find yourself in crowd of some very ambitious people (atleast for me it is difficult). And life here is not that easy, you have to do a lot assignments, presentations and aboveall STUDY Again.

Remove Virus in XP that Disables “Show Hidden Files”

There is a certain virus that prevents XP users from viewing the hidden files.

The virus meddles with the ’Show hidden files and folders’ option in the Folder Options and the option keeps bouncing back to ‘Do not show hidden files and folders’, despite repeated trials.

Here is how you can set this problem right:

Navigate to the windows registry:
Go to Start menu
Click Run
Type regedit in the text box and then click Enter.

When the Registry Editor opens, perform the following steps:

Go to the following registry key:

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then open Software.Under this navigate to: Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Explorer Then go to Advanced -> Folder -> Hidden -> SHOWALL
Delete the value CheckedValue.
(Its type should be REG_SZ and data should be 2 or 0.)

Create a new DWORD value called CheckedValue (same as above, except that the type is REG_DWORD).

Modify the value data to 1 (0×00000001).This should enable you to select the ‘Show hidden files and folders’ option without much problem.Do drop in comments if there are further queries and we shall try to find answers.

Thanks Giving Party!!

How one want to celebrate his last few days in college?? Obvious answer is partying hard...

But this the moment which don't count night party but a treat/ thanks giving party to our dear teachers. Teachers who let me do my personal interests, who are so easily available for any problem, who make it sure that even by some amount of effort we people may not suffer or awarded by good grades, who understand our need and guide us with very valuable suggestions. When I come to college I found myself in dilemma about my branch but today I can stand strong that this department give me enough strength and ample opportunities to grow.

This is very unusual party no music as such but a lot of words from our teachers. I come to know most of them personally and the things of which I'm not aware of. SK Gupta Sir was a surprise package for us, his sense of humor is just superb. Agarwal sir seems to be most active and Narang sir was very emotional about the day.

Unsual stories and success mantras were enough to make party alive. even girls to get permission for late hours due to Ashok Sharma sir. So they also feel happy about it.
I will really gonna miss them, specially Agarwal sir, Narang sir, YVSS Prasad sir(!!) & SKG sir.

I really gonna miss this place, I gonna miss my college days.

My BTP - a big MESS!!

My BTP: (B.Tech Project) is seemed to be big MESS!! We are putting ourselves hard (not really) on final year B.Tech project. Our project is on - "Study of various variables in cementation of copper on iron". First few days we tried to come to common analysis method for determination of copper in sulfate solution. After a lot discussion we come a method that I'm stating below:

Take copper sulfate powder and dissolve in a water completely. Add about 2 grams of KI in it. Solution will become brown. Titrate it against N/10 sodium thiosulfate. When solution become faint in yellow color add freshly prepared Starch in it, solution will become blue. Continue the titration till solution become white. Calculate the amount of sodium thiosulfate consumed.

% Cu= N/10 sodium thiosulfate consumed * 0.6345 / amount of copper sulfate ( in grams)

Cementation reaction: Cuso4+ Fe = Feso4 + Cu (On iron)

We perfomed this experiment many times. Prerna help me through her presence and cold water. Chandak & Shiv tried to be there in lab and that is enough for me. They are also putting efforts to complete the stuff, afterall it is their project too. Prachi, Nandu and Parul are also doing some experiments in same lab so sometimes we feel happy that we are not the only one who are suffering.

After doing many analysis test on different samples every time we got the result which was absurd. Even in samples we are not getting any results. Our project guides Narang sir and SKG sir everyday instruct us to do different what we have done in that day. So it is becoming a complete messsss now. I dont know how we will going to complete it. God save us we have to write the report too.

Rajasthan Royals Team Anthem - Halla Bol

Rajasthan Royals - Halla Bol

Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings XI
Rajasthan Royals Rocks!!

Breathtaking – if there’s one word to describe the match of the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) that took place at Jaipur yesterday, that would be just the right word. This is my first experience of any 20-twenty cricket match in stadium. SMS Stadium is completely occupied. I purchased a 500/- ticket in 250/- only as they were selling them at lower price due to no rush. But soon as this price was lowered every ticket is sold out. We reached stadium before 1 hour of starting time of the match.

Ila Arun performed the anthem of Rajasthan Royals. Whole atmosphere was just fascinating. Dance by Sameera Reddy was too sexy and what more I can say:
बस मज़ा ही आ गया . IPL is Sheer Entertainment . The Redskins Cheerleaders, dressed in red, yellow and white, and flashing their red pompoms, were an instant hit among the spectators. Style razzmatazz, scurrying lasers, resplendent fireworks and dancers/cheerleaders from around the world, set the tone for the tournament.

Match:
Nail Bitter
Rajasthan Royals romped to a six-wicket win against Kings XI Punjab in the sixth Indian Premier League match (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The Jaipur team chased the 167-run target, set by the Punjab team, at the loss of four wickets in 18.1 overs. For the home team, Shane Watson slammed his first IPL fifty, as he scored an unbeaten innings of 76 runs. In their match here at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Shane Warne cast a spell on Punjab's batsmen, finishing with 3-19 in his four overs.

Preity's prayers fails to show colors @ IPL
Preity and Ness may be upset with their team's defeat but the match was a pura paisa wasool for the crowd as they got to witness a spectacular innings. But it is only the beginning and more games, more entertainment and more twists and turns will be seen in the coming matches. So, Preity should not be disheartened.

My IIM shillong interview experience

Hi everyone
I appeared on this 18th April for IIMS interview. My interview was scheduled in IIFT Delhi.

I reached at center about half hour earlier. In my group there were 10 people shortlisted for the interview but only two were present(including me) so we are merged with other group.

In first round there was a GD based on a case study: 5 mins to read and think. 15 mins to discuss and 5 mins to summerize.
Case: There is railway dept in some swapiland and there were a lots of complaints from customers as well as media about punctuality of trains. So MD appointed Robert to solve the problem. He gave him one year to solve. I told him if he succeeded all credits will be his if failed he is responsible.

Robert take survey and called all drivers and station master and warned them if they are not in schedule they will be fined. When it was nearly to complete the year he come to know that nothing changed as such. Drivers and SM blames bad track and old engines.
Meanwhile he was called for review meeting with MD.

What should Robert do???

Moments - 2008

Moments - the annual photographic exhibition @ MNIT Jaipur

Photography can be a means of capturing special moments, fascinating places, interesting objects or even captivating faces. But beyond that, there's also another dimension to a photograph. When delving deeper into the pixels, it triggers thoughts and expressions that go much beyond the frame. This is the same thing one can notice at MOMENTS -08.

Photographs are categorized in categories like
Campus life, Nature, Issues, Abstract, Engineering Marvels , Portraits and story with photographs. Nearly more than 200 hundreds of piece of work is shown on the walls of exhibition hall. Some of these photos are such that one can be amused that these are clicked by engineering students not by a professional photographer. Photos in abstract category are much better. They really seems to be very professional.

A very interesting story by Gurudatta is worth mentioning. This story have 8 pictures of Dheeraj Agarwal (Neta) doing some stunt on a tree. Caption for the story is "
हम आज भी बन्दर हैं ". Story is descriptive in a very nicely written poem. These photo seems to be funny but carries important message that where we are heading for. I will publish the whole story with pictures soon.

A interesting thing happen with me is that due to some reasons i was not able to submit my entries still I think I was too able to make my presence in the exhibition. I'm posting some of them for your viewing .Please lemme know whether they are good enough to be there or not.
