Aiye Bharat Banayein: India Banao

India Banao:
On 20th Oct, 2008 a public forum for political networking is launched by Mr. L.K. Advani along with some corporates. I too witnessed the event. Launch was in FICCI auditorium and I was excited about going there. India Banao! is a platform for young people to participate in public affairs. Demographically India is a young country with millions of ambitious, hard-working youth seeking a better tomorrow. However, many young people believe that neither India’s political system nor its leaders are addressing the issues that really matter to them. The India Banao! initiative provides a channel for young people to engage with India’s political leaders on youth-related issues. Welcome speech is delivered by Mr. Advani.

When I was back from there it left several questions in my mind. Is this forum is not an arm of BJP?
Is this forum is talking that Advani Banao= India Banao ?

Answers for these question may be yes. I attended the launch with pure intensions but found that it is more inclined towards BJP. As such I'm not against BJP but I'm expectin more that at least this forum will not be biased and will definately represent the youth of this country. The party’s press release said India Banao! has been founded by three accomplished Indian professionals: Sanjeev Sanyal, economist and author, Jayant Sinha, investor and columnist, and Sheetal Talwar, film producer. It seems that the initiative supplements the BJP youth wing’s “yuva jodo” plan to reach down to the booth level to project Advani and recruit at least two youth per booth.

Questions raised: Most of questions raised in event remained un-answered. Advaniji try to skip nearly all questions as most of them nearly asking clear views about their agenda about Bad performing politicians, hours wasted in parliament, de-investment policies and Mr. Advani has some political restriction to answer them in front of media.

I can state that expections are not meet....

My Friend it happens....thats why I believe that if we want to change anything in our country, whether reforms or revolution, we neet to start fron the politics because it handles everything in our country, whether directly or indirectly.

And about the youth, its the strength which leads to the nation on the path it wants to...and when the youth of our country will realize what I said above then I'm sure that we all will be witnessess of whatever you say --- 'Reforms or Revolution'
